About me
Helen Buckley
I am a mum to three girls and live near Cambridge. I have a degree in textiles and have worked as a schools photographer for a number of years. I have always had a great love for traditional crafts and after I was given a taster weekend where I re-upholstered a footstool I knew I wanted to properly learn the skills to reupholster both traditional and modern furniture. I completed a three year Diploma with Wendy Shorter Interiors, where I achieved distinctions for my work. I now work alongside a talented group of upholsterers at the St Albans Upholstery Studio as part of a collective.
Saving Furniture going to land fill
My aim is to keep as much furniture out of landfill as possible, I am always on the look out for items I can give a new lease of life to and ultimately a new home.
